In honor of National Recycling Day on November 15, 2024, eco-conscious apparel brand Allmade® is sharing a new video with updated impact data. Founded in the Pacific Northwest, Allmade has been committed to creating sustainable blanks with the best ingredients. Using organic cotton and recycled materials while utilizing factories that run on renewable energy, Allmade aims to reduce the fashion industry's environmental impact while creating positive social change.
Did you know? In the United States, it's estimated that 60 million plastic water bottles are thrown away each day, which adds up to 22 billion bottles every year. Of these, about 70-80% end up in landfills or as litter, meaning only a tiny portion is actually recycled. To celebrate National Recycling Day, Allmade is excited to share a new video highlighting their dedication to ethical production and environmental responsibility. Since Allmade’s launch in 2016, they have recycled approximately 51 million water bottles into their fabric, and recycled 39,317 pounds of cotton scraps into their Recycled Blend Fabric!
