$25.00

Make an impact while celebrating World Oceans Day in style with this limited edition “Keep Our Oceans Colorful” t-shirt created in collaboration with Superior Ink and the Emmy award-winning film “Chasing Coral.”

The film captures how ocean warming is causing coral reefs, the rainforests of our oceans, to turn white and die at an unprecedented rate around the globe.

$15 of every shirt will be donated to Blue Sphere Foundation an organization dedicated to halting the destruction of threatened marine species and habitats.

A colorful ocean is a healthy ocean.

Coral reefs support 25% of all marine life, but warming ocean waters have caused reefs to bleach at an alarming rate. When bleaching occurs, corals expel the algae living in their tissues and then the corals turn completely white. The world is waking up to our changing climate, yet if current trends continue, 90% of the world’s reefs will be lost by 2050. We need to act now if we want to keep our oceans colorful.

Saving the seas with sustainable fashion.

Made from recycled plastic bottles and other sustainable materials, this shirt combines art and activism to reveal this urgent message in a powerful way. $15 from each purchase will support Blue Sphere Foundation as they go to the frontlines where urgent action is needed for our ocean and seeds the necessary infrastructure to promote long-term change.

Bring this urgent story above the waves and help #KeepOurOceansColorful!

What sustainably sourced materials are used to make the t-shirt?

A better t-shirt starts with better raw materials. Our tri-blend shirts are made from organic US-grown cotton, recycled polyester, and modal – three fibers that not only produce a luxuriously soft shirt, but are better for the environment as well.

The polyester in Allmade shirts is made exclusively of Repreve fibers, and every tri-blend shirt contains the equivalent of 6 plastic water bottles! Allmade uses organic, non-GMO, cotton and conventional cotton grown in the US, where regulations on pesticide use are more established, and we’ve reduced the cotton content of our tri-blend shirt to 25%. Modal is the secret to the luxurious softness of our tri-blend shirt. An evolved form of rayon, the Lenzing Modal® used by Allmade is made from sustainably harvested beech trees in PEFC (Programme for the Endorsement of Forest Certification schemes) certified European forests.

What about microplastics?

We are looking for better options than rPET but for the time being we feel it is a good option to reduce water, chemical and oil consumption and use plastic trash. Over 300,000 million tons of plastic a year is being thrown away, instead of recycled. While rethinking plastic consumption in general is key for our future, it’s also important right now to find ways to recycle and repurpose the products that are most likely to end up in our ocean.

With proper education and more regulations we can prevent micro plastic from entering the oceans. Handwashing / hang drying your apparel, and products like the Guppy bag and Coraball can reduce the risk of microplastics entering the ocean. So share it, wear it, and care for it!
